Recently, we obtained the application drawings of Chery Fengyun A8 from the new application catalog on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website. The new car was previously unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show as the Arrizo 8 PHEV model. After Chery established Fengyun, a new new energy product series, the new car was included in the Fengyun series and renamed Fengyun A8. The new car will be unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show.

In terms of appearance, Fengyun A8 adopts the same design style as the fuel version, but has new body trim strips to highlight its identity. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4780/1843/1469mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2790mm.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the Kunpeng super hybrid C-DM system composed of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The 1.5T engine is a dedicated engine for hybrid systems, and the transmission system is matched with 1DHT Hybrid-specific transmission box. The new car has a pure electric range of about 100 kilometers and a comprehensive range of 1,300 kilometers.
