Due to insufficient wear resistance of the vacuum pump blade cover material on some vehicles within the scope of this recall, abnormal wear of the blade cover may occur under long-term engine idling and other operations. . In extreme cases, the blade cover may be damaged, resulting in reduced braking assistance and longer braking distance, which will increase the risk of vehicle collision and pose safety risks.
GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the vehicles within the recall scope with improved vacuum pump blades and blade covers free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.
Emergency measures: Before recall repairs, users are advised to avoid idling the vehicle for a long time and enter the store for repairs in time after the recall begins.
