We learned from MG officials that the new pure electric SUV model MG ES5 will be launched on October 15. The new car had previously appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's July declaration, positioning itself as a compact SUV and using a pure electric power system.

In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a closed front grille and split headlight design, and is equipped with a double-section ventilation opening in the middle of the front enclosure. The waistline of the new car runs through the body to the rear, and the front and rear fenders are equipped with black wheel eyebrow designs and double five-spoke wheels.

At the rear of the car, the new car is equipped with a high-mounted brake light set, and the taillights adopt a through-type design, which is highly recognizable when lit. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4476/1849/1621mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2730mm. In addition, the new car also has 17-inch and 18-inch wheels available.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a single motor system with a maximum power of 125 kilowatts and a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, with a top speed of 170km/h.
