Recently, Kia officially released a preview image of the new Kia EV6 model. As a mid-term facelift model, the new car has made some changes in appearance design, while also optimizing and upgrading the interior configuration, power battery and other aspects. It is reported that the new car will be released at the end of May, and the EV6 GT high-performance version is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter.
Judging from the preview images, the new car adopts a brand-new LED daytime running light group shape, and its triangular shape further highlights the vehicle's personalized attributes. The new car returns to the front grille design called "tiger roar", and is combined with the front LED light set to form a through-type design. In addition, the new car will be equipped with multiple on-board cameras to enhance the vehicle’s perception capabilities.
In the rear part of the car, the new car adopts a through-type taillight set design. The shape of the light set is integrated with the undulating decorative panel of the rear enclosure to form a wrapping style, which enhances the sense of hierarchy at the rear of the car. The new car also adopts a suspended roof shape, making the overall look more futuristic.
In terms of power, the new car will still launch rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive models. The rear-wheel drive model is expected to have a range of 528 kilometers, the rear-wheel drive GT-Line version has a range of 504 kilometers, and the four-wheel drive GT-Line has a range of 504 kilometers.
