More than a thousand models, including the BMW i3, will be successively delivered and put into Maple Leaf Car Rental's national service network. In addition, the two parties have reached an intention to further cooperate and plan to reach a cooperation target of 20,000 units in the next three years to improve the travel experience for Chinese customers.

As a model tailored for the Chinese market, BMW i3Adopting the fifth-generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology and excitation synchronous motor, it has a maximum power of 210 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 400 N·m. It only takes 6.2 seconds for a single motor to accelerate from 100 kilometers to 100 kilometers. The vehicle has a cruising range of 526 kilometers under CLTC standards. By the end of 2025, one out of every four new cars sold by the BMW Group in China will be a pure electric model.
