Jeep officials stated that the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe models will be delivered to users in Europe starting in December. With the launch of the new model year, Wrangler will only sell the 4xe model in the European market.
According to the plan, the Jeep brand plans to have 70% of global sales come from electrified models by 2025. The adjustment of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid model in Europe is in line with the brand’s previous commitments and is part of a positive change.
The 2022 new cars are equipped with a wealth of driving assistance systems as standard, and also have the latest Uconnect vehicle system. The vehicle is optionally available with a Corning Gorilla windshield from Jeep Performance Parts, an opening soft-top convertible, and custom paint colors.
The Wrangler 4xe is equipped with a 2.0T engine plug-in hybrid system with a maximum power of 276 kilowatts and a peak torque of 637 N·m. The battery capacity is 17 kWh, the pure electric cruising range is 55 kilometers, and the comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 2.4-2.8 liters. For reference, the domestic price of new cars is RMB 534,900-614,900, and the Sahara 4xe model enjoys a full purchase tax exemption policy.
