On the occasion of the opening of the Shanghai auto show, Bitauto's front-end exploration team captured a set of pictures of the real car of Chery TJ-1. As a new compact SUV built by the Chery brand, the new car focuses on the "light off-road" concept. The tail logo shows that the new car may be named Camper, and it is expected to go on sale in July.
In terms of styling, Chery TJ-1 is equipped with a huge honeycomb grille and is embellished with chrome decoration. In another version, the brand’s letter logo is embedded in it and looks very impressive. In addition, the new car uses split headlights, and LED daytime running lights running through the left and right connect the headlight groups together.
The side of the car is equipped with hidden door handles, and the rear adopts the popular through-type taillights, echoing the front face. At the same time, a large area of silver panels is added to the rear enclosure for embellishment, which enhances the off-road atmosphere of the vehicle.
As for the interior of the car, the shape is very simple and there are not too many physical buttons reserved. The addition of LCD instruments, floating central control screen, HUD head-up display, and wireless charging panel further enhances the technological attributes of the car.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height of Chery TJ-1 are 4500/1865/1680mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2672mm. In terms of power, the fuel version will be equipped with a 1.6T engine with a maximum power of 145kW. The TJ-1 C-DM model will be equipped with Kunpeng's super-performance electric hybrid C-DM system.
